Since 2014 / Lowell, MA

We excite, educate, and empower kids in tech.

Kids in Tech is a nonprofit closing the digital skills gap for children ages 8 to 14 — starting in the communities where access to technology education has been thinnest.

Our mission

Technology shapes every part of a child's future, but the on-ramps are not evenly distributed. We build them — free after-school Tech Clubs where kids get hands on real hardware, real code, and real mentors, week after week.

Consistency is the point. Our clubs run through the full school year so that skill and confidence compound instead of fading after a one-day workshop.

Excite

Every session starts with a spark — a robot that moves, a light that blinks, a game that finally runs.

Educate

Project-based curriculum in robotics, coding, and electronics, taught by mentors who work in the field.

Empower

Kids leave with technical fluency and the confidence to see themselves in a technology career.
